ProBlogger.com: The Best Forum for WordPress Bloggers

It is pretty hard to look for the perfect forum to help us to improve further as WordPress bloggers. Most of forum out there is the mixture of few topics which blogging is only the subsection of the forum site.

This situation forces us, the WordPress bloggers to jump from one forum site to another to look for solution of our WordPress problems and to learn blogging tips from few sources rather from single person i.e. through blogging.

Darren Rowse, the author of the most popular blog on blogging tips i.ie ProBlogger do realise this issue. He feels that it is way better if there is a platform where bloggers can group, work and collaborate together as no one knows about blogging as compared to the bloggers themselves.

Therefore, Darren Rowse has set up a new forum site – ProBlogger.com which specifically for bloggers to share and discuss on blogging issues.

However, it is paid forum site but it will only cost you for $1.95 per month ( This is just an introductory price. Darren will raise up the price after one month).

Base on Darren, the reason why it is paid forum is he would like to have proper salaried staffs that will help him to manage the forum. It is also been set up as paid forum site to make the forum to be seen as valuable and worth every pennies paid and to discourage spammers from intruding and ‘invade’ the forum.

At the moment, from the pre-launch offer  that is given to Darren’s 31 Days to Build a Better Blog workbook customers, the forum attracts around more than 800 members including me.

Base on my observation on the forum after being a member for few days, the forum is definitely a must-joined forum site for WordPress bloggers. It is definitely a place where you can learn about blogging, look for opinion and suggestions on your WordPress blogs, look for help on WordPress or blogging related issues and look for collaboration for any project that you are planning to do or launch.

To make your forum membership more attractive, Darren has launched alongside the forum a great offer for those who join ProBlogger.com. he is offering 50% off the 31 Days to Build a Better Blog workbook to anyone who joins the forum in the first month. However, this is purely an optional thing and not something that he expect everyone will want or need. You’ll be given a discount code once you register and pay for your first month on the inside of the forum.

Hi! Great Blog! I found many useful information here.

I’ve joined Problogger community a few days ago.
Before I joined this forum, I read about “blogging alliance” in problogger.net. I think it’s a good idea, but I found it difficult to meet other bloggers who want to collaborate to improve their blog. I have no idea where I could find this people.
And then I joined this forum. I am glad to be part of it, I found many friends from all over the world, and we have made a great collaboration here.
We could share our knowledge about blogging, exchange links, give comments or feedback, etc. Together, we could build our blogging alliance. So, come on, join with us!

  3. In only a week after it’s opening, I think the forum has helped me understand the intricacies of “professional” blogging much more than I ever have reading 100’s of articles.

Plus I always love meeting new people that share the same passion, regardless of subject matter… I’ve even managed to find others that are fairly close to my targeted niche in some aspect.

Definitely enjoy talking with you, Helmi!

You know I’m over there. It’s a wonderful forum, and it’s just getting started. The collaboration forum is really taking off, which is nice.

  8. I’ve been using problogger forum for a while. Alhough it is very useful, I don’t see the point of paying for it. There are many free bigger forums, where you can also get the answers you want.

i love digital point forums. It’s great and free one..
maybe the only reason why Darren Rowse launch this kind of forums is to make a pure professional forums which purely help blogger who want to improve their blogging skills.

  10. Don’t get me wrong, you can still get valuable resources and advice in there. But, as I pay for it, I would expect a little more than normal forums. You can still get proffessional advice on other forums.

Wow., you have to pay to be in a forum like this. I thought only porn forums charge their forum members. haha~

  12. Mike says:

hmmm…im interested in it. It is 5.95 now though.

  13. ariff says:

    I see. Wow~ That’s a lot for me.

  14. Mike says:

yeah it can be a lot especially if there are free forums. If the price is really low it is worth it but the higher the price the more worth it is to test out the free forums first.
