In the host that I use there is a simple install wordpress button. One click and it is installed

I guess you can transfer everything including the settings if you change hosts. But then, it’s good to check with your hosting service first

One thing about using Fantastico is that the WP version is not updated. I’d prefer using ftp method instead.

They have cpanel, but I was worried whether the fantastico setting file would change if I change hosts.

Any idea on that?

It depends. For hosting that comes with CPanel, there will definitely fantastico software in it.

You should try fantastico as you can definitely install the WordPress faster and easier.

A quick question, if we are switching hosts? Does fantastico settings get to the new host too?

I didn’t use fantastico because I was not sure.
